"The business grant didn't just buy me a sewing machine. It bought my freedom. I now employ four other women in my village. The cycle continues."
— Chioma A., 2024 Grant RecipientAt Miss Africa Foundation, we operate on a "Circular Impact" model. Commerce funds Charity. We generate revenue through our ethical fashion line and pageant ticket sales. After production costs, 100% of net profits are reinvested into our three core pillars.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the programs executed in the last fiscal year, thanks to donors and patrons like you.
The Scholarship Fund
We covered full tuition fees for 50 young women entering STEM fields in universities across Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. This includes laptops and accommodation support.
The Skill Acquisition Centers
Our new center in Accra is now fully operational. Women are learning high-end tailoring, beadwork, and financial literacy. Graduates are hired directly into our fashion supply chain.
Seed Capital Grants
The top 5 pageant finalists received seed funding to launch their "Passion Projects," ranging from a mobile health clinic to an agro-tech startup.
